Game runs perfectly when using older Proton GE 11-7 but stutters on later releases. The gameplay itself is fine, but the controller layout is old and doesn't match Frame, but buttons are in the place you'd expect; e.g. use d-pad up-down to be the two buttons on the left controller. I haven't found any button combo to open the pause menu yet, but opening dashboard sometimes causes the game to pause if you need to get to settings.
Tinkering or fix steps
Switch to Proton GE_11-7 as a regression in later releases causes constant stuttering
Known issues
In-game controller don't match frame button layout, but similarly positioned buttons on frame controller perform the action you'd expect for that position. Haven't found any way to open the pause menu.
