Make reports useful
- Report first-hand testing rather than rumours or expectations.
- Include the play method, software versions and fixes that affected the result.
- Describe both successes and problems clearly, without exaggerating.
- Update or resubmit evidence when a meaningful version changes.
- Mark spoilers and keep summaries readable for other players.
Be respectful
Disagreement about a result is fine; personal attacks are not. Do not harass others, post hateful or sexually explicit material, reveal private information, impersonate people or organisations, or use the service to threaten or encourage harm.
Keep the evidence genuine
Do not submit fabricated tests, copied reports, spam, advertising, malicious links or attempts to manipulate votes and ratings. Do not present a community result as an official Valve decision.
Moderation and reporting
New reports may be reviewed before publication. Moderators can mark outdated evidence, hide unsuitable content or restrict accounts that repeatedly disregard these guidelines. Use the report tools where available to flag a problem rather than escalating it publicly.
