A straightforward summary of the information Frame Verified uses to run accounts, community reports and optional site measurement.

Last updated 22 July 2026

The short version

Frame Verified collects only the information needed to operate the service. Account details are used to keep your account working; community activity is used to publish and moderate compatibility information. Optional analytics and advertising remain off unless you choose to allow them.

Information we use

  • Account details: your email address, username, display name, account role and basic account timestamps.
  • Community activity: reports, votes, flags and other contributions you choose to submit, together with their dates and moderation status.
  • Essential technical information: secure session data and routine hosting or security logs needed to keep the site reliable and prevent misuse.
  • Optional measurement: Google Analytics and Google AdSense are used only when enabled by the site and allowed in your cookie preferences.

Why we use it

We use account and contribution information to provide the service you request. We use limited security and moderation information in our legitimate interest of protecting the website and its community. Optional analytics and advertising rely on your consent, which you can change at any time.

How your password is protected

Frame Verified does not store your password in its own database. Sign-in is handled by Supabase Auth, which stores only a salted, one-way bcrypt hash of your password—not the password itself. This means Frame Verified administrators cannot view or retrieve your password. Password reset links are used when you need to choose a new one.

What other people can see

Your username, display name and published community contributions may be visible publicly. Your email address is not displayed publicly. Rejected, pending or internal moderation information is restricted to authorised moderators and administrators.

Services that help run the site

We use Supabase for authentication and database services and a web hosting provider to deliver the application. If you allow the relevant optional cookies, Google provides Analytics and AdSense. These providers process limited information under their own security and international data-transfer arrangements. We do not sell your account details.

Retention and your choices

Account information and contributions are normally kept while your account is active and for as long as they remain useful for operating, securing or documenting the community service. Some moderation and security records may be retained where reasonably necessary.

You can update your email or password in Settings. You may also ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, or object to or restrict certain uses where applicable. You can withdraw optional cookie consent through Cookie settings in the footer.
